Model SD-3SA Robotic Pouring Device

The Model SD-3SA is a three-axis robotic pouring device designed to pour up to 150 pounds of aluminum anywhere along a fixed radius of up to 36 inches. The radius is manually adjustable providing ± 6 inches of movement of the ladle. All actuating devices are located at the back of the arm behind protective heat shielding. All bearings on the ladle end are heat treated, nitrided, H-13 tool steel. This unit is ideally suited for green sand and permanent mold applications on which the furnaces and pour positions lie along a fixed radius.
